Susan Lee, a May 2019 magna cum laude BS Nursing graduate of Hunter College, received several prestigious undergraduate scholarships, including the Helen Witmer Roth Scholarship from the Chinese American Nurse Association, and New York State and New York City Council Merit Scholarships. She was also inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Golden Key International Honor Society.
Lee was a Nurse Extern at the Veterans Administration New York Harbor Health Care System’s Residency Program, and then worked as a Staff Nurse in the Medical ICU at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Since December 2019, she has been a critical-care RN in Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Coronary Care, and Burn Care units at New York City Health + Hospitals/Harlem Hospital. Lee states that working for NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem “has been one of the greatest fulfillments of my life” and views the Evelyn Lauder NP Program as a way “to continue my passion for serving others.”
